MOTHERFUCKING ANCHOVIES

Do you like them /ck/? I fucking love them. I like them on pizza ,crostini, minced up to top salmon or even on a bagel with cream cheese, onions, capers and pepper.

What do you guys like to do with these tasty little fuckers?

They're ok. Aside from the obvious use as a sauce flavoring. I'll occasionally eat them on rice.

Use them where you need a burst of intense salt flavouring

Delicious. I mostly mince them and add them to my tomato sauce, but I like eating them on crusty bread too.

They're good in a Caesar salad.

They are definitely best in sauces and dressings. But I do love those bitches on a pizza as well. Or on crackers/toast with salsa and capers.

They are my salt. Gives this round almost umami flavor that gets you hooked. Especially in these "almost sweet-sour" stews. Also makes dill rounder in anything because of the nature of the fish and dill combo.

Any suggestions on a sauce using them? Never cooked with them before.

I enjoy them on pizza every now and then but it's too salty for me to have regularly. I always thought it was wierd how often people would turn up their nose at them.

Fresh ones are a whole different world, senpai.

Always get them in salt, never oil. Better flavor.

So salty they give me a headache.
