When I worked at a pizza chain part time during college I never saw anyone fuck with food. But shit happens just as bad. During a weekend rush, sweat is dripping onto your pizza, shit gets dropped onto the filthy floor and used because there's no time. Have been a part time employee at a restaurant for past 2-3 years whilst undertaking my full time university education.

I usually just zone out and not care. I'm paid to do a job and I honestly feel more empowered when I have my emotions in check and just get on with it.

On the odd occasion if a customer is behaving oddly/rudely it's usually due to a genuine complaint. I apologize for the inconvenience and rectify the situation as well as I can within my power.

A lot of my co workers do have a poor work ethic and care factor to say the least. A restaurant job is at the bottom end of the food chain and attracts a large spectrum of employees.

Those, such as myself, who have aspirations in life and are simply getting by and those that have a poor attitude in life and usually reflect a poor ethic on the job.
