If you think a recipe calls for 13/4 cups of milk, it's actually calling for 1 and 3/4 cups of milk.

When deep frying, a good way to test if your oil is hot enough is to drop an ice cube in the fryer.

This also a good way to cool oil that is too hot and you don't want to burn your food.

When cooking for others never factor in health unless they actually care. Like preparing food for Holidays with family - always use more oil to crisp, use more cheeses. Its harder to advise on this, because you cant add more sugar to frosting and make it better.

Like youre doing a potato fry? Fry the potatoes in olive oil, and then wash with butter and make it super oily and unhealthy. Everyone will love your cooking.

When cooking for multiple people, save the juices from cooking the meat. If there's a vegetarian/vegan in the group, pour the meat juice on their salad, and watch with glee as they enjoy their meal.

This. Using lots of fat, especially, is fine as long as the people eating have some basic portion control.
