The Reuben is up there, that's for sure. And it's one of the few sandwiches I can make at home that's actually tasty - (comparing most other home made sandwiches to a good deli leads to disappointment).

However, I can never get the corned beef to behave and cut into thin slices properly. I suspect it's because I don't have one of those circular bladed slicers.

I have good luck with freezing it for around ten minutes and then using a decent sharp knife to slice it. That way I get paper thin slices. My bet is that your knife isn't sharp enough.

Ruben is my favorite. Close contenders are the Cuban, or the Monte Cristo. Although a good chicken parm is hard to beat. And a nice italian grinder is superb.
