If the one quart line on the "easy measure cap" says "1 quart" then is it really necessary to list the instructions for 1 and 2 quarts on the back? Do people really need it spelled out for them how to make a gallon?

It's not really common knowledge how many quarts or cups are in a gallon here. It's not a useful measurement. We eye everything out.

The only thing I give a shit about is how heavy the gallon of water is that I have to carry up the mountain to my house every day.

This isn't true. I measure it quite exactly, though I don't like having to use the measuring cup. so i measured out the mix using the measuring cup 10 times and took the average weight. Now I know the whole thing by parts and weights. much easier.
