Youre missing out. Its not just about the burn...there is a whole range of flavors and cooking styles that one cannot appreciate without eating spicy food. And its not a macho frat-boy bravado thing...though that exists. As your experince with spicy food increases so does your tolerance. I use any number of habanero sauces like kids use ketchup and im not "hurting"...the flavor is great.
And other guys might laugh at habanero as they suck on a ghost pepper.

Dont be a condescending snob just bcause you fail to understand something. We're not eating spicy food to be seen as cool or tough. We eat it because its delicious.

A lot of chefs have no idea how to extract and promote the FLAVOR. Most of the spicy food on your average menu is basically just acid to burn your mouth, and at a certain point that's what all spice turns into. Anything past your average pepper high and mild sweating is pointless
