So, if you need to microwave tea, but your strainer is metal, it's fine. So long as your cup is full of fluid, you can safely microwave it, even with metal in the microwave! The water shields the metal.

It's a new hobby...but I have two more in the mail! I'm really happy with my mugs. My coin collection doesn't please me like my mugs. Mug anime pictures are hard to find because I will only buy aesthetically pleasing ones and I have to like the characters too.
