Guys when they say "hot cereal" do they mean heated cereal and milk? I tried microwaving mine and pic related happened.

Are you supposed to use a pot?

>> No.8632352

it means things like oatmeal which are heated during preparation

>> No.8632360

Honeycombs are not a hot cereal.

>> No.8632362

fuckin noob. You're supposed to fry the cereal in a pan with butter preferably, just until lightly browned, then add milk, and reduce until thick. wala--hot cereal

>>8632341
You're supposed to eat them like that, you made them perfectly then wasted them.

Farina is quite a treat with a pad of butter and a sprinkle of sugar on top, especially after the top forms a slight crust.

OP, you can't make hot cereal in a microwave. This is what you do
>cast iron pan, smoking hot (keep that shit on high, nigga)
>add milk
>wait until milk is almost brown
>add cereal and just a pinch of cream of tartar (to keep the milk from getting too watery)
>cook until cereal starts to brown
>serve hot

>> No.8634452

You need to heat it up with the milk, bud.

Protip: Grape Nuts hot are top-tier

The plumbing from your kitchen sink is only 2” inside diameter and not made for solid wastes and it’s usually quite a ways off from the black line (the 4” pipe from your toilet) where it connects into the system.

Both these mean that solid wastes get caught / stuck to the inside of the pipe, which causes more solid wastes to get caught / stuck, eventually backing up your drains.

Sink-erators are a scam promote by the plumbingjews.

My grandmother has been doing it for literally 25 years in her current house.

When her old garbage disposal broke she bought a new one. And it was the original one that was in the house when they bought it. The new one has been going fine for ~3 years now.

She's never had to call a plumber for a clogged sink.

I know this is a troll post however I had a friend who legitimately did have hot cereal

He would do this:
Fill bowl with milk
Microwave for a while till it was pretty hot but not boiling
Pour in cocopops
Add some melted ice cream
Microwave again very briefly

Was a monstrosity but I have to admit it was a tasty result
