Okay, now keep working on your diet dummy.

Okay? It's fine to have a day like that once in a while. Proceed with your diet. At least try to learn to control yourself. You don't need to cut it 100% out of your life, just not every damn day or even not more than once a week

why do people do this?

if you really want fast food just get a cheeseburger and small fries or something

Usually when shit like this happens people tell themselves "fuck I can't do this I'm going to be like this forever why bother", so they sink into like this hot-flash hopelessness and think it's irreversible.

See if you can do another 3 months, OP. Get a little active if you haven't already. You got this.

I think this is genuinely the best advice. Applies equally for alcoholism too. If you trip take it in your stride instead of giving up. Of course this requires you to actually have the will to fix yourself.
Went from 97kg to 71kg in less than a year. Still technically an alcoholic though, but one step at a time.
Another way I have of looking at it is the WWI approach. Irreplaceable losses were justified by minute territorial gains. However it works better with dieting.
Say you diet for a week and then fuck it up. Normally you'd look at it as a failure and then just relapse. The WWI approach? Look at it like a victory. Yeah you fucked up eventually but you didn't fuck up for a whole week. You moved the ball foward just a tiny bit. It's better than nothing, assuming you're following a non-retarded diet, and next time you might do better. Shit really helped me.

It's good man, as long as you don't keep doing it.
in '09 I was on the meme Weight Watchers diet, and like once every few weeks, I'd watch Titus and eat an entire pot of Kraft Dinner

>this is a thing

Jesus Christ.

I don't understand it either. I could probably count the times I have had fast food in my life on both hands. Mostly when drunk wandering past a 24 hour McDonalds after a night out.

Never understood the appeal, it doesn't taste very good and it isn't even cheap.

I go more than you, maybe 1-3 times a month.
It's sad that people eat fast food every day.
Nobody can fucking cook anymore. It's pathetic.

>> No.8365592

Big deal one day out of three months will have little impact, a lot of diets encourage an occasional binge.
There's no need to go cold turkey on everything you enjoy just because it's bad for you as long as you can moderate.

>> No.8365652

Don't worry about it, it was maybe a bit extreme to remove all junk food ? I respect you for trying to do that this strictly, but in my opinion if you really want it to work in the long run, try maybe to allow yourself some from times to times ? Like a small item in the weekends, or a full menu every two weekends ? That would be way more sustainable I think !

Good luck with that !

That's odd you aren't supposed to get cravings after 3 months
What's the real reason you are them?

First you need a history of past failures and disappointments
Then you need a big amount of disdain both for your own life and life in general
Add a lot of anger and rejection issues
And you got the kind of person who is perfectly ok with dragging himself to McDonalds at 2 in the morning barely clothed enough not to go to jail

It's really sad how addicting this food is. Does anybody else ever get such a dopamine rush after binging on sugar or fast food that they actually laugh a little uncontrollably? Like you get such a flood of dopamine it washes over your body like smoking some purple kush or something.

It's not the end of the world anon. It didn't invalidate the stuff before hand and you're still making progress. Just keep going. You're going to make it.
