1. Spread soy sauce and peanut butter mix on salmon and sprinkle with salt pepper and oregano and curry powder
2. Cook on medium heat with olive oil and garlic and green pepper and cashews for 20 minutes on each side
3. roast in over at 200 degrees for 15 minutes
4. Take out of oven, de-bone, and serve with pasta and garlic bread

Be sure to cook it thoroughly, or else you'll catch salmon-ella.

Why

>> No.8155153

I usually don't use a recipe for the salmon, just estimate the ingredients but I think this will come close.
1 1/2 cups mayo
1/3 cup mustard (I usually
Use Guldens & some
Times I add Dijon but
whatever kind you like)
2-3 shakes of Worchestershire sauce
2-3 shakes of Tabasco or
Crystal sauce

Place the salmon slab skin side down on some slices of lemon in a baking dish. Mix the mayo/
mustard sauce together with the Worch & Tabasco & spread over the fish, flesh side up.
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top. Sometimes I add sliced black olives on top too.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-45 min until fish flakes with a fork.

Nope, that would be a radically different subsittion.

It sounds like OP is trying to make some kind of really shitty knockoff of a Thai-style peanut sauce. Regular butter doesn't taste like peanuts at all so clearly it won't work.

OP is also obvious a bullshit recipe because the cooking time is FAAAAR too long. 20 minutes each side? for a salmon fillet? Plus going into the oven after that? This is just silly trolling.

Nah, I agree with you about 8155153's bullshit spelling error. I think it's an silly magazine-reading housewife tier recipe as well.

I just find your silly image to be just as, if not more, stupid.

Has anyone got a good receipt for salmon poached in liquorice?

I typically toss out my receipts. Sorry, anon.

>> No.8155284

I've never bothered with an exact recipe but I have made it before. What I did was:

Put fish stock in a pan, enough to fully cover the salmon. Toss in a couple star anise, cinnamon stick (ideally Saigon type), and sliced dried licorice root. Bring to a boil then lower to a simmer. Simmer for a couple minutes to let the spices infuse into the stock. When that's done, add the fish and gently poach until the fish is cooked through. Cooking time will depend on the size/thickness of the fish. I use a thin metal skewer to check doneness.
