As someone who has worked with animals I can't justify being Vegan or Vegetarian from anything but an environmental standpoint. Fish got nothing going on in their heads, even less in creatures like oysters, crabs, etc (really who can justify to themselves with the 'pain' reasoning not eating a fucking oyster). Chickens and other poultry are basically violent sociopaths (I know because I have a grandfather who raised them as pasture for years and they were a bunch of pricks). Cows don't have much going on, and a pig doesn't have much more than a dog.

After raising animals I can't see not eating them unless I want to 'save the environment', and for that we need an overhaul of our meat industry, not just a knee jerk reaction and removing.

Also the fact that who ever here claiming to be vegan isn't because there are animal products in essentially all modern computers.
