While there are "proper" ways to eat food, if you studied world history from recorded civilization, you will understand that food culture is very fluid and changes as recipes and customs traveled throughout Eurasia and into the other continents.

While respect for traditions are okay, respect for how those traditions change elsewhere is something that is normal in human history.

The same way religion is less hardline in the peripheries of the regions they spread into with the central regions being more "pure," the same thing happens with food culture.

Asking people to only follow one single way to enjoy their food is basically the same as you being a religious extremist.

Not only did you completely ignore that I said food culture purity is important so we have a diverse global food culture in the world (it's in the last paragraph of the post if you can't read), you started implying that it is "bad" for people to mix spam over rice and fried dough as a traditional dish.

Koreans have spam in their soups too, you fucktard. It's called cultural exchange and it was something that allowed Eurasian civilizations to be far ahead of many of their other continental counterparts in terms of technology, ideas, and even food. It's why Thai food shares quite a bit with Indian, Malay, and Chinese cooking, and how Vietnamese use French bread in some of their traditional foodstuffs.

While I have no problem with keeping food culture purity in the original centers of said cuisine (traditions kept safe in China/India/Japan/Russia/Germany proper), I and many others shouldn't have a problem with these traditions not being followed completely when outside said centers of cuisine (Chinese food in America, Turkish food in Germany, French food in Japan). While respect towards other traditions make sense, it should not be an ironclad rule outside of their areas of origin. As I have said in my previous post, you are no different from a religious extremist from a central region trying to force its ways on the peripheries of your area of influence.
