Well boys today is meal prep sunday, the day that I fill up 10-15 containers full of something hearty to get me through the week. Last week I did coq au vin, looking for something more beefy or porky this week. What shall I make? I like to do vegetable heavy dishes with more meat that you'd normally add. Doesn't have to fit that prototype necessarily, I just want to hear your hearty meal ideas

I was going to cook red lentils with pork belly in a crock pot tomorrow to have a few lunches next week.

But I forgot to take the pork belly out of the freezer because I'm a cuck. PB&J's again, I guess.

Red beans n rice.

Make different meats to top it with for variety. Andouille, fried bacon, fried ham.

So damn good.

Wtf? How can you eat the same thing over and over in such a short period without getting sick of it?

Quick-soak the beans. Maybe not quite as nice in texture but fine for a beans and rice dish.
