Good when you're frying chicken, or seasoning chicken.

I dont know anyone who would in the right mind, use it for seafood, pork, beef, popcorn?, like it says on the package.

To be honest, I use it for cooking and to give leftover food or quick food some flavor.

>> No.7920594

I keep some to flavour shit cheap food that my flatmates buy when it's their turn to shop for groceries. I also put it on that garbage 'sar 'za and it makes it less bad.

Green. Get some beef short ribs (thin, Mexican or 'flanken' cut), season em' throw them on the grill, serve with Goya mex rice maybe some guacamole & chips. Heaven.

What's the difference in the colors?

Dye content.

In the actual plastic container, or the Adobe contents inside?

I'm not hip to this stuff. The only people I've ever seen own this are poor Hispanic families and poor college kids in my neighborhood, often not mutually exclusive.

I was assuming the colors meant for different foods, but they have the same images of food on each one.

The container.
It was a joke.

The colours mean different flavours. Red is with pepper, blue is without pepper and green is with cumin.

Alright.

Adobo in pork?
Hmm....not really unless making pinchos (meat on a stick) or pork chops. Bigger cuts are usually seasoned differently in the Caribbean.

Beef, sure. In hamburger mix it works well. Or again, pinchos.

Now seafood......wtf, that really is just marketing.
The only thing I can imagine is when you fry something, adobo can be good in the batter, so maybe fried shrimp.

I mean, I'm from Puerto Rico, I live in the island, but knowing how they are in the states I know >>7922637 is not far fetched. But I compare it to soy sauce, in the states somehow people's palate gets to a certain point where they drown things in soy or put adobo on eggs or shrimp. Regardless of where it happens, adobo on eggs sounds gross.
