Used to eat them all the time for years. Then I started buying higher quality dogs once I got disposable income. Went back to the Bar S ones once, and I could literally taste some aftertaste of chemicals or some shit that I didn't pick up before. Don't know what it was. Never bought them again since, anyway.

Too smooth and too fake to get a good Maillard reaction to happen despite all the HFCS in them.

I used to buy them a lot 7 - 8 years ago. Spending a little more on Nathans or even Ballpark is definitely worth it.
