I love my local place because it's authentic, but they also give you the option to order it "american style", aka cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and tomato. I almost always get it mexican style, but it's a nice option to have if I'm in the mood for more tex-mex style food

you really cant argue about the price of tacos because it's going to change by area so much, here in houston they have the competative $1 taco scene because we have so many mexicans with ow income and that's what helps sell, there are still places with $2-3 tacos, then theres Torchys...

places like LA are probably going to be more expensive because they can just charge a lot more there and get away with it I would assume, then someone in a place with no mexican population will be lucky if they can even find good tacos and pay whatever they have to pay. Cant compare to the 75cent tacos in mexico because if you have to live in mexico there should be a few perks...lol jk
