I used to live in the jewest part of town.
I liked my fresh Montreal style bagels, grabbed some smoked salmon from a guy who smoked it himself and some latkes.

There was a rabbi who was saying hello to me everytime I saw him and he was speaking yiddish with me. I just acknowledged to whatever he was saying. I was proud to achieve full jewness.

I also had super jewish friends in college and each friday night before going out we would celebrate shabbat, with the prayers the salt on the bread, but they were leaving the lights open and riding their cars. They were making chicken with jew spices. It was pretty good.
