Can I sous vide hot pockets? What temperature should I use?

>> No.7604944

You can sous vide whatever you want. The results of a sous vide hot pocket would probably be pretty awful, but feel free to do it anyway.

I'm gonna try it senpai, going with 150 unless anyone else has suggestions

The meat is already fully cooked, there is no reason to waste all that energy. Just microwave it for 1:45 like a normal person.

Yeah, I actually ended up doing it. The texture was weird. The outside was very soft and not crisp. It was kind of offputting and unpleasant.

On the plus side, the temperature of the inside was evenly distributed and it didn't have these random parts that were really hot which happens when you cook them in a microwave. That part was better.

Actually if I seared it, it would have been awesome. I should have but I was too lazy.

If you have a Microwave/Toaster nuke it for 1 minute, then toast it for 10 minutes. 4 minutes toasting the bottom, then flip it over for 6 minutes on the top.

awesome

Just bake them
It takes longer, but you can cook multiple at the same time

And we all know that the majority of the people who eat hot pockets eat more than 2
