And a replacement shouldn't have even been offered since he got what he ordered and there was nothing wrong with it aside from his delusion that it would be something else. The proper response would be to tell him he can have the item or he can have a refund but he can't have a replacement because that's what the item is, like it or not. It doesn't require tons of arguing and getting the sauce out to prove that it's buffalo sauce or any of that nonsense. I've dealt with idiot customers (not ones in fast food, mind you, thank god) and you have to be short, firm, and not let them infect you with idiocy.
