>Fake Olive Oils
>Fake Honeys
>'Pancake maple syrup' which is just HFCS and no maple in it
>Whey protein with 50%+ protein spiked
>Peanut Spreads where they have almost no actual peanuts in it
>Imitation Cheese
>Frozen Dairy desserts
>Imitation meats or low cuts of meat held together with meat glue and sold as more premium cuts

Why is it so fucking hard to find actual food anymore /ck/? It doesn't matter how much it costs or what brand it is, they all seem to use fake and altered ingredients in everything.

Strange, I've noticed a trend in the other direction.

Are you fro Europe? They're usually around 20 years behind the States when it comes to trends.

imigrate to europe or somwhere else with food laws that fend of such bullshit.

I am getting the feeling that the poor food quality seen here on /ck/ is because there are shitty shortcut ingredients and no cooking lessons during secondary school.

topkek, 80% of American food products couldn't be legally sold in the EU.

you wait untill those bastards get that trade agreement signed..

HFCS is not usual here as there are large subsidies for sugar beet. all we get here is beet sugar, and that makes coke chicken per se a caramelised american dish amerifat can't cook anymore.

HFCS pisses me off so much. We are like right here by tons of countries that produce real fucking cane sugar, and yet due to the goddamned corn lobby and their subsidies and protectionism we get shit HFCS.
Fuck the corn lobby.

Don't buy Italian olive oil outside of Italy. It's way too likely that you're gypped. Get Spanish, Greek or Californian instead. Those usually have good quality for a reasonable price.

This
Many "" authentic italian olive oil "" companies are just mixing in good olive oil with shitty italian ones and relable it as high quality.

Just get olive oil from greece, spain or turkey.
I am not from the US so I don't know how good local produced / mexican oils are.
