can someone tell me if i have hand cancer? These scars have popped up out of my burns. am i died?

Nah. I cook practically everything I eat and spent almost a decade in the food industry (as a meat clerk, mostly) and got plenty of minor cuts, burns, and bruises, but nothing that left visible scars.

All the damage suffered by my hands is internal, from spending too much time in walk-in coolers and freezers, and spending hours and hours working with knives, and from lifting heavy/awkward things - I have minor joint pain in my hands and I'm not even 30 yet.

These are my two biggest wounds at the moment

The cut has pretty much healed though. And the burn was pretty minor (I don't even remember exactly how it happened)

OP here.. i can't remember the last time i've cut myself with a knife, but i got myself with a peeler the other day peeling quinces (awkward and lumpy shaped) and just knicked myself with a dull mandolin. thank god for superglue.

i probably burn myself to a varying degree every day, the worst being when i'm busy. oil and convection oven racks most often, less often grabbing the handle of a hot pan.
