Only slants do this... Believe it or not in their retarded heads they actually think that not shoveling your food in your face makes you look like a dog or some shit.

Yeah. I can see how it'd be confusing the way I worded it; you hold it palm-up, with your thumb near the bottom of the handle and the pinkie toward the business end.

jesus christ I can't stand people who grab utensils that way

I said YEAH didn't I. You got it right, I was just clarifying for anyone else.

And not really, but I guess cuz I've been doing it for like 40 years by now. I know it looks real stupid but trying to do it other ways actually DOES hurt and I just don't care enough to try and change it.

why do people hold their forks like this? they even put food on top but what's the point? it will just fucking slide off, it's only slightly useful when cutting into meat or some shit

you're not supposed to hold it upside down like this ffs

Fist grip is lower class, pencil middle class, and hidden handle upper class. Fork tines should be down, though briefly using it as a scoop for peas is acceptable. Food should be pushed on to the inside edge of the fork in that case, never the outside.

It's all bullshit, though using your fist does kinda make it look like you have the dexterity of a gorilla.

I eat with the fork in my right hand and the knife in my left hand when I'm at home.

When I'm out I have to force myself to use my fork in my non-dominant hand, it just feels unnatural.
