start with the basics, spaghetti bolognaise, this will teach you how to cook pasta as well as a basic sauce which you can add your own things to. You will cook spaghetti a lot in your life so make it good

Next try a baked dinner, you mentioned you don't like red meat but the preparation of the meat as well as timing the vegetables so everything comes out nice will teach you a lot and many people love a baked dinner

start cooking eggs for breakfast a couple of times a week, change up the methods..poach, fry, scramble, boiled, again this will teach you a lot and will help in your future female related endeavors

Just find and make recipes that interest you, and make em. With youtube and all the other resources out there, its never been easier.

After awhile you will understand what works with what and can just cook and go by recipes as a guide.

It wont get ya laid necessarily but it will keep ya eating well for life.

I can cook, but I prefer not to. A big pet peeve of mine is doing dishes, and since I always need mine really clean to do anything, I piss myself off by dirtying them and then having to work hard for my own standard of cleanliness.

whenever these threads roll around people are like 'start with x, proceed to y, these are good foundational recipes' but i honestly think that pretty much any recipe is a good foundational recipe. just have fun cooking. make the stuff you like to eat and seek out stuff you've never tried.

it can contribute to the overall likelihood of you getting laid, yes. i was in a relationship with a pretty girl once that was almost explicitly entirely into it for the food. it was horrible, but i was still getting laid through cooking.
