Now most have realized that factories can't make food that tastes good and won't kill you and are looking to either revive western aristrocatic decadance food or plagiarize ethnic poverty food. Since the white poverty recipes are all but lost. And ethnic is a byword for flavorful. Since most white people think flavpurful food should be saved for big occasions.

Those events are made by whites though. The Michelin guide is basically a tourism guide for the French. Also, a bunch of people who are savants when it comes to cooking doesn't say anything about the culinary skills of the race they belong to. It does however speak about the ability of that community to allow such a skill to be honed to that degree.

Think about how hard it is to become a top chef in the west where you have all the safety nets and a huge population with a disposable income to indulge in food to great extent. Not try to think how hard it would be for someone to do that in a country where if you don't earn money you starve and the population is not ready to pay you for your effort in relation to the cost of the food itself.

This is why one of the most culinarily limited region, Denmark has arguably the best restaurant in the world.

Serious answer: two reasons.
Firstly, industrialisation began in the UK and spread to other English-speaking countries first then to other Germanic-speaking countries (as well as France) before hitting the rest of the world. As such, the industrialisation of food occurred first in those countries before anywhere else. Unlike their Germanic neighbours, France was initially suspicious towards the industrialisation of food so it didn't take as strong a hold, though they did invent both canning/jarring food in hermetically sealed containers as well as pasteurisation, which led to rapid adoption of food industrialisation elsewhere.

With the industrialisation came the newfound freedom from man y kitchen duties for cooking women which brings us to point two: feminism and the wars.
With many away fighting wars, few men were left to run industrialised factories, so women stepped in to fill the role. This led to the working woman. She lacked the time to cook a whole dinner and with the convenience of ready meals and canned foods, pic related became the common sentiment.
After the men returned from war, many women lost their jobs. Dissatisfied to return to their humdrum kitchen lives, feminism became huge and women in the workplace grew increasingly commonplace.
And there you have it.
Basically, privilege and success in Northern European countries and their daughter nations, such as the US, Canada, Australia, South Africa and Kiwiland rang the deathbell for home cookery.

That's why white people are bad at cooking.
