I am cross posting on /out/

I am making a list of recipes that I can make with just a few spices, wild vegetables, and meat.

I have the following spices:
Salt
Sugar
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Chili Powder

I will also have hardtack to use a flour.

Wild vegetables being mostly kudzu and wild onion. Think North Georgia wild vegetables.

As for meats, it will be fish from the lake/river and possibly rabbit and squirrel.

So any ideas?

ha ha.

I am making a list of recipes for a bug out bag. I don't ever expect to actually need these recipes but it is nice to know that I will be able to eat something kind of tasty if SHTF.

Curry could work I suppose but that would mean I would need curry powder right? I can add more spices but anything like cheese will go back too fast.

The apocalypse is upon us.
People are dying in there thousands/millions.
OP expects to find edible plants and animals in the post-nuclear landscape.
Worried about the flavour of food over survival.

"Run for your lives, zombies are attacking the town!"

"Quick, grab the garlic powder."

In a SHTF situation calories are more important than taste and the flora available to you will be purely dependant on your location and season.

Never bring tinned foods, it's just extra weight. Look into MRE's and other long shelf items which are dried like noodles and jerky.

For herbs and spices, try curry powder, dried chilli flakes, Oxo cubes, soup packets etc.

Don't forget some Arborio rice and a good quantity of truffle oil (which can double as an ad hoc massage oil if you're really in a pinch.) You should be able to find a pumpkin to make a lovely pumpkin risotto, unless it's February or some shit, then you're shit out of luck.

Also, shallots maybe difficult to come by in the wild so consider packing a few kilos or so. Just in case.

Just because OP has made a thinly veiled camping thread, when in reality his mom is throwing him out for being a middle aged unemployed gamer doesn't mean he can't have nice things to eat, on the street.

That is some serious hate for me.

Calm down man. I didnt get kicked out. I just wanted recipes with limited spices and ingredients. I thought it would be a fun challege for this board.
