Onions are literally the best thing in the entire world. I have nothing but pity for those who don't appreciate them. Learn the error of your ways and come to recognize how amazing they are. It may take time, but you can get there.

Also, the people who don't like onions are typically the people that have never eaten real food before and live off of hot pockets and frozen tendies.

I see lots of recipes that have you deglaze with wine. But the way I learned to make it was with sweet booze. The CIA textbook recipe actually uses calvados. The sweet flavors with intense rich beef broth are perfect and adding a cheese crouton just seals the deal and makes it the best soup of all time.

I love onions so much I have trouble answering your question. But one of the easiest things to get you to love raw onion is tacos. You don't need a lot, but that raw onion bite and the texture are perfect.

I feel worse for people that don't know the pleasure of onion than I do for children starving to death in Africa. I know that's wrong, but I hope it reaches somebody and gets them to accept onions as their lord and savior.
