Used to be you mean. They discontinued the god tier Baja sauce that was a key ingredient of this. Now they use "spicy ranch". It's not nearly as good.

I wish bro. Download the Taco Bell app on your phone and get the menu from your local store. Then the next one out and the next. None of them will have baja sauce. It'll list spicy ranch instead. Better yet don't even do that and order one. Once the dissapointment hits your tongue you will know the truth.

I never tasted it before the sauce switch

so I guess even though I'll never know the true joys of baja sauce, at least I can love the current one with all my heart, and not tainted with the loss

I weep with you. My visits to Taco Bell have decreased dramatically because of it. On the bright side it appears that are bringing back the lava sauce by introducing the lava quesarito at the end of the month. It's the second best sauce they ever had so I'm happy they're bringing it back.

Maybe it is the same only different name. I mean I heard some people call the quesadilla sauce as jalepeno sauce and some as like southwest sauce or some crap over the years

It's not the same. I've had both. Not even close. It's poor substitute. I used to get this everytime and I've stopped ordering it entirely now.
