Post your OC. It doesn't have to be full presentation mode (pic related). I'm just tired of threads without OC. Feel free to rate, talk shit, etc. Just remember to post OC.

I made pork "burnt ends" last night.

Meatloaf stuffed mushroom-caps/serafina-peppers, hodgepodge and eggplant salad with homemade balsamic vinaigrette.

I guess I can post something else. Lemme look through my pics. There we are. This is a mini baguette I baked last year. Quite a crunchy/crusty exterior with a very airy crumb.

Roasted lamb's breast. I separated the ribs from the meat because I wanted to gnaw on them separately and eat the meat as a more typical boneless roast.
Rubbed with a mixture of black peppercorns, dried red chillies, dried rosemary and dried lemon zest all powdered together and mixed into pasted garlic and olive oil with a little salt.

Over rice, in a bowl
That way you get a nice mix of veggies, meat, and grain
Plus the marinade/liquid gets all over the rice, giving it taste

Yours looks tops. I'm a big fan of paprika on everything.

>>6857732
I can't remember all the measurements but I have the ingredients

Marinated 1 diced boneless chicken breast for about half an hour
Marinade was
>1 cup of soy sauce
>1 jalapeno pepper (chopped, then thoroughly rubbed on the chicken)
>salt & pepper
>oregano
>chopped dried parsley
>1 slice of lime, squeezed

For veggies I did one whole tomato, half a large white onion, some pre-chopped mushrooms, and some cabbage

I added the (chopped/diced) vegetables before I started cooking the meat, except the onions since I don't like them soft

Rice was just a cup of white rice made in a rice cooker

>How do you make those potatoes they look good?

Ever since I found potatoes to be so universal, I started to bake 4-5 every week and that way I have potato ready to go for many uses. That said, I took one of my baked potatoes, cut some thick slices and tossed it in some butter in a very hot skillet for a while, and near the end I added the smoked paprika.

made some baguettes the night before I made this, so I decided to do crostini that morning

Garlic rubbed crostini with pesto, topped with a poached egg, a chunky heirloom tomato bacon vin, and finished with some fresh heirloom tomatoes, basil, crushed almonds and a little parm and olive oil

Thank you! As I said it was the first non-pasta meal I ever made, I'm glad it turned out so well and is now getting praised on a Laotian ventriloquy board

I got the marinade recipe from my roommate, using the ingredients we already had
Only addition was the lime. I thought it would go well with the jalapeno spice

Adding the vegetables was an on the whim idea since I wanted to give the chicken time to marinate, and I need to eat more veggies
I just used the ones we already had
So yea, no actual recipe

2 cups spelt flour
Salt
1/2 cup chilled butter
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
~1 cup buttermilk

Mix the dry together. Cube up the butter and cut into the dry ingredients. Add buttermilk until it looks just slightly dry. Put dough into a bowl and let it sit in the fridge for about 15 minutes. Spoon onto a baking sheet and cook at 475 until they start to brown.

AP flour isn't as soft as spelt because of the gluten content. Regular milk will result in a denser biscuit because it isn't as acidic as buttermilk. I have a recipe by weight somewhere, but I'm too lazy to find it.
