Do you guys like finger plates?
What do/would you put on yours?
Sometimes I find it's easier to make one of these for dinner rather than cook, especially if I've been working all day.

I was going to ask how you feed your family with that but then realized you're probably a one man wolfpack.

Looks like some kind of dry sausage or salumi.

I really need to find my camera.

This is how I eat most of my meals, but they actually make sense, are composed, taste good, are nutritionally balanced, and fucking look nice.

Calling that "finger food" is also stupid as fuck.

It's soppressata, basically spicy salami.

Oh yeah, I make charcuterie plates/antipasto plates all the time, especially in summer. Perfect when you don't want to cook.

Would cold plate be better terminology? I couldn't think of what to call it really.

I feed people at every meal. Automatic thought. I forgot what it's like being a non provider. Brain hiccup.

Fat doesn't make you fat. overeating does.

No shit. But I'd wager you eat that whole thing of dip in one sitting.

The dip lasts me four or five lunches on one recipe. typically a tbsp or two of it is a serving.

Not at all.

My kitchen is in an "L" shape, with open doors at each side. I usually walk through the kitchen, take out a plate/bowl, walk though the dining room, around the kitchen table, through the living room, back into the kitchen, where I'll pull out first ingredient that goes on the plate.

I repeat the process while watching a few episodes of whatever I've watching until my breakfast/lunch is done.

It gives me an opportunity to think about every ingredient I want to eat, how to plate it, and how to eat it. It also burns off a "shit ton" of calories without making me sweat, and gives my the opportunity to think through how to best enjoy whatever I threw together for the day (I also end up using chopsticks, simply because they allow me the best opportunity to take each bite as I'd previously imagined it.

It wouldn't be that hard to make two or three plates, especially if you have everything out to cut up anyway.

>> No.6823429

>>6823301
So, you save it and eat it with soggy, cold, blanched vegetables over several days? How fucking disgusting.

That's more of a cheese plate than a charcuterie/antipasto. You need more cured meats.
