Saying you don't like "hoppy" beers is misleading because adding hops at different stages has different effects. You guys have some great beer, and I even enjoyed Kilt Lifter though it tasted more like a strongly brewed barley tea with fresh hops squeezed in than anything that I'm used to. We don't have that problem in Chicago. Milwaukee brewing co, new Glarus, etc etc they all make so much good non ipa beer that I never took the claims of over saturation seriously.

Man I wrote a long reply but it got fucked when I tired to take a pic for ya.

Anyway, 3Floyds does a shit ton of work with other breweries and they put out amazing shit across the board. Rare types of beer. Things with corn (really damn good! Sweetness helps balance out other flavors). Them and Pipeworks are damn good at balancing their beers. You'll get something with 11abv and not even taste it cause its so light and refreshing.

Pipeworks has delicious creamy stouts or ones that drink like coffee with chocolate and cherries or whatever the fuck you want it's great. Got a local shop with an entire shelf, front and back, covered in pipeworks. Some of it has been nicely agreed for over two years. Good shit.

But yeah, anything with their names on it will likely be gold. They do small batches for all their stuff and get great label art that makes you want to hold on to the bottle. Fun beer for fun times.
