Celiac's disease, not really an allergy but really fucks my shit up if I eat most things.

Not exactly a food allergy, but
>need to get appendix out
>"Don't worry son, this will be just like a dream, See you in a few hours"
>wake up and literally everything hurts
>an hour or so later, a nurse comes in
>"Oh, you're finally awake!"
>four days have passed
>turns out I was horribly allergic to the morphine they gave me after the operation
And this is why I'm absolutely terrified of hospitals.

I don't have food allergies, but the crunchy feeling from biting onions or pretty much the feeling from many things in my mouth makes me cough until it's all gone. It really sucks because onions taste good.

I mostly "fixed" this by throwing onions on a blender before frying them. In the end they mix better with everything so it works.

Still can't eat beans, though.

I used to be allergic to cantaloupe when I was little but it somehow went away.

Since last year I am now so lactose intolerant that eating ice cream gives me food poisoning (projectile vomiting) every time.

My girlfriend is allergic to nuts, shellfish, and fish. Any of those things will cause anaphylaxis within a few seconds. I've had to inject her with epipens and drive her to the hospital, it's not fun. It's pretty much a constant pain in the ass when trying new foods.

It's also a great way to find out which Italian restaurants make proper pesto (with pine nuts which are a seed and not a true nut) and which ones try to bullshit you with walnuts instead.

care to support that bullshit theory of yours with some actual evidence?
