What is the best fast food restaurant to work at /ck/? Which is the worst?

What about chain sit down restaurants like Olive Garden and Ruby Tuesday, which is the best and worst to work for?

One of the worst is Taco Bell. I work there, but hopefully not for much longer. I can only really speak for my area, but it's a corrupt chain, the food is terrible, and they don't care for anybody under assistant managers.

Worked at a Chili's for awhile. One of the most shit-tier restaurants I've ever had the displeasure of working in. Their corporate (Brinker) is managed by fucking retards and their restaurant management isn't far behind. Brinker is the laughing stock of casual American dining.

Generally, working for any major chain sit-down restaurant is miserable unless you're a manager. Servers make shitty tips because your customer base is mostly obese white trash and rude black people, cooks make okay money but their work is incredibly stressful, and QAs are basically freaking out their entire shift. Most people who come to chains expect their food and quality of service to be the same everywhere, but it's exponentially more difficult to meet those expectations in a big kitchen restaurant, especially if it's mismanaged.

Quesadillas are not my thing. The jalapeno sauce we put on them is the sauce I dislike the most there. What I fine myself making a lot these days is a shredded chicken burrito add sour cream, pico, and lettuce. Not great, but not too bad. Anyways most places will make employees pay for their food, but my manager said that all closers at my store can eat for free on the clock. It's a good thing I close.

>> No.6785371

chick fil a can be pretty awesome to work for -- depending on the store, even entry level employees get bonuses based on sales. most stores allow for up to 34% labor so they're constantly fully staffed and it's not that bad

taco bueno is horrible all around. they shoot for 15% labor and it's impossible to get any sort of bonus or raise even after working there 5+ years. they skirt around health code whenever possible. their turnover has increased exponentially over the past few years

Nah bro, every single faggot that claims Hate Chicken bitches that corporate does the following:

* Gives Sundays off because religion is being pushed
* Gays are discriminated against despite the fact there are many that work there. They just can't act like faggots
* Crushes individuality because they don't let employees act like niggers.

Its really one of the best chains to work for, and to also eat at because corporate runs a tight ship. Its just all the fucking faggots because the owners are Christians and they are not for gay marriage.

I work at a regional pizza chain on delivery and sometimes kitchen work.
It's easy shit. I work with the owner directly sometimes which is okay. He's very particular about everything, but I would be too if it were my business.
When he's not around our managers let us take what we want home for food and everything its a bit more relaxed.
I have a cleaning list and have to shred cheese on top of all my deliveries but on the weekdays we aren't that busy so I tend to shred cheese then vs the weekends.

I get fairly good tips on the weekdays (especially from regulars). Weekends are pretty good, most I've made in tips so far is $50 on a sunday. I live in a small rural town though. If I worked at the city location, I'd be making bank.

Just because it's a small rural town I'm more worried about shit like skin walkers or meth heads cutting me up or something. The latest I've been on delivery was yesterday, I was out til 10pm.

I will definitely tip all my servers. If I get bad service, they get a penny.

I work as a line cook at a smallish family owned restaurant in Ontario. My coworkers are good, respectful people, and I even get a free meal every shift.

However, I used to work at Swiss Chalet. It's basically a rotisserie chicken place that serves other shit as well. The owner was a short constantly angry Mexican who could barely speak any English. The kitchen was run by teenagers and lowlifes, so it was constantly disorganized and dirty. I'm glad I got out of there.

OP, you may have luck finding a better job at small restaurants or sit-down places. Don't work at McD's or similar. It's shit, been there, done that.
