Unlimited food buffets. You can actually eat to what YOU consider full portions, rather than just hoping the restaurant gives you something filling enough for the price.

To be clear, you do not go to Golden Corral for high cuisine- their food is, admittedly, low quality. You go there because you are ravenous and poor, and when you spend thirteen bucks on food, you know you'll be able to eat your money back.

Buffets are a rare and precious thing. Let us respect them wherever they be.

I know it's filthy and full of abominable wastes of flesh, but me and my friends often go there purely because of how much food you can eat; it's obviously low-quality but it's still decent for the most part. If you can swoop in when they put the plates down, you can avoid having your food manhandled by smelly Indian children. They have a grill where they'll cook steak ("steak") to order, which is pretty nice. Also, plenty of dishes like tacos, pizza, grilled fish that are impossible to fuck up.
Just know what you're doing and GC can be a good experience.

This would make perfect sense if we weren't talking about the US, where the default portion size in restaurants is already extra large. If portion size is an issue for you at restaurants in the US you're either a serious athlete in training or you just plain eat way too fucking much.
>Buffets are a rare and precious thing.
This is not true. Go anywhere there are large concentrations of fat poor people and you'll find them. The highlight of the week for my redneck relatives used to be going out for a "belly buster" after church on Sunday.

I don't even need to go to Golden Corral. My small town is 90% buffets, all of which are cheaper.
We have 2 chinese buffets, a kfc/taco bell buffet, pizza hut has one as well as another pizza place, some fried chicken place offers one. Besides that we have 4 fast food joints, and two average/garbage mexican restaurants. All of which are filled with the standard GC fare of people you'd expect.

I just want good food, man.
