Somewhat on topic: I wish there were more varieties of "vegetable" cake. I have heard that zucchini cakes can be very good, but more variations would be nice to try. I don't really bake at home so I only (extraordinarily rarely) go to bakeries for pastries and it is sad that there is so little variation.

Anyone ever make chocolate mayonnaise cake? Comes out pretty rich.

I had something that tasted a lot like a carrot cake the other day. It was a sweet potato-maple cake with walnuts and raisins, topped with cinnamon-cream cheese icing. Fucking god-tier

I just baked a lemon drizzle cake. Swear to god the skewer came out clean before I took it out the oven, but I cut into it this morning, and the middle is liquid. Is it not cooked? Should I put it in the microwave? Did I fuck up the drizzle? Pls halp.
