Nobscot, Woods Hole, Provincetown, Brewster

Pretty much anything you get will be on fleek, just make sure it's local catch and the fry cook isn't a meth head. Eat handmade ice cream, corn and tomatoes every day, boggle your mind at all the white people doing white people stuff
>dem skinny white girls on da beach mmm
and be prepared to have your wallet raped at every turn

Also eat lobster, fried clams and scrod

Go to Plymouth, faggot. Some good places to eat.

Downtown you have Woods seafood (better than lobster but), peaceful Meadows ice cream (they make all of their own milk and ice cream), and Percy's place for a local breakfast (get there early or prepare to wait. Other places to eat would be rock bottom seafood (my preferred joint), the clam shack on route 6 (good luck getting to it on a weekend). In south Yarmouth there is thuan loi, has pretty good pho. Also, drive north a bit to Duxbury, go to Bongi's for the best fucking turkey you will ever have (they raise the turkeys themselves organic, just for their restaurant). Want to know how good the turkey is? The waiting list for a thanksgiving turkey starts the day after Thanksgiving for the next year, and fills up within a week. Grab a turkey sandwich with stuffing and a dark meat pot pie (local veggies and home made gravy).

Plymouth consists of 27 sports bars and a few restaurants that are a notch above Olive Garden, not anything worth driving across the bridge for.

OP here - I'm not leaving the cape to go to plymouth, duxbury or any other place - although my family has raved about Bongi's

I'm still hoping for a legit cape recommendation. I guess that's too hard for /ck/? or does the food here just suck.

I'm currently near Boston (Somerville specifically) and I was hoping seafood might be cheaper here but the only lobster I've seen have been $30 each and I haven't looked that much further beyond. Where should I go to find some reasonably priced sea bugs? Doesn't have to be lobster, that's just what I've noticed so far.

literally don't go to any restaurants. eat only fresh local stuff made in front of your eyes, you are in a fresh food paradise that lasts approximately 8 weeks per year. any clam shack, any ice cream shop, do a lobster boil yourself, shit nigga fuck a restaurant on cape cod right now you can literally drive down almost any road for 30 minutes and pass a farm stand with everything you need to eat like a king possibly excepting steak.

If you really feel like you must eat out, try the Landfall in Woodshole, it's good, it's quick it's fresh it's not a total rape, but make a fucking reservation shit fills up quick

Local here, year rounder capefag here.

Try the brasillian grille in hyannis if you get sick of seafood, or try the Beachcomber in wellfleet for booze & entertainment. You could also try the lobster pot in p-town (no-mo)

Unless you're really into the beach, the cape is going to get boring as fuck after a week. Crossing the bridge isn't bad on off-hours so exploring other parts of the state could be fun. Google Maps + traffic will be your best friend driving around. Plymouth is cool if you like history, but skip the fucking rock. Seriously.

>Plymouth consists of 27 sports bars and a few restaurants that are a notch above Olive Garden
Accurate, but still worth crossing the bridge if you like history.
>>6744579
Go to literally any grocery store or fish market. I think lobster is around 7 bucks a LB right now and it's virtually impossible to fuck up.

This guy knows whats up. A lot of the "fresh" clamstrips at tourist traps are the same frozen shit you can find anywhere. Do a clambake on the beach or get a hibachi if you want to keep it simple. Watch out for blowing sand though.

That's my best advice. As far as booze is concerned be warned that last call in most of Mass is 1 AM. Blame the college kids and the Irish drunks for that shit. Any one of these bars should be good if you want to mingle with locals. We only hate tourists when we see them on the roads.

New bedford reporting! I second this, there is absolutely no reason to not have portuguese food if you're gonna be in MA, and no better place in my opinion than new beige.
