What's wrong with store bought taco seasoning?

Are you an authentic Mexican OP? Do you use your great grandma's recipe for seasoning ground up beef?

Ya know, that is the only packaged taco mix I find acceptable. I make my taco mixture fresh, and it is somewhat of an off-shoot from your pic..,

Per every pound of meat I add
2/3 cup of liquid (water or beer)
1 diced jalapeño
2 diced cloves of garlic
1 diced medium onion

I've gotten away from using cheese on my tacos, I normally just top em with a fresh pico de gallo and sour cream in a white corn tortilla.

Most Americans can't handle spicy.. it why when you go to an Indian or Thai restaurant, you have to specify 'Asian Spicy' to get the authentic spice level.

>> No.6703412

>>6703384

My fiance's father owns an Indian restaurant, all the non-Indian looking people get what he calls "Western Spicy" unless they specify for "Indian Spicy."
