I'm English and I am actually eating crumpets - with strawberry jam and drinking tea. (very hot with milk)
It's delicious for a late easy breakfast.

What comes to your mind when you think about polish food? I'm wondering what are polish food stereotypes, because for me it's sausage, sour cabbage and sour milk, but i'd like to hear your opinions

Watermelon is extremely delicious. I can kill a seedless watermelon a day.

I am ashamed of myself.

>drinking tea. (very hot with milk)
Take care. Too hot foods or liquids destroy the mucosal lining faster, leading to a higher cell regeneration rate which has its own Problems:

Steaming hot tea linked to cancer

Drinking steaming hot tea has been linked with an increased risk of oesophageal (food tube) cancer, scientists have found.
The British Medical Journal study found that drinking black tea at temperatures of 70°C (158°F) or higher increased the risk.
Experts said the finding could explain the increased oesophageal cancer risk in some non-Western populations.
Adding milk, as most tea drinkers in Western countries do, cools the drink enough to eliminate the risk.
The oesophagus is the muscular tube that carries food from the throat to the stomach.
Oesophagus cancers kill more than 500,000 people worldwide each year and oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is the most common type.

Strange no one mentioned vodka yet
I am Polish by the way
Sausage is the most stereotypical of Poland, because Americans commonly market their sausage as Polish to make it sell better.
Though I would not say that we are that obsessed with sausages. Then again, I don't know, maybe other countries eat them really rarely and to them we are obsessed. But I doubt that that is true. It is probably just due to the American marketing of "Polish" sausage.
Also, some Americans know about Pierogi and seem to like them, but it isn't really that much of a stereotype.

actually, whe i went to poland to eat sausages, i was dissapointed of the ones they sell in my country, and i think that the reason they dont think vodka is stereotypical from poland is because literally all of thepeople that talks about vodka claims it to be russian, in my opinion the best vodka (for me and from the ones i've tried) is absolut vodka, even though that is swedish, everybody thinks that it comes from russia

>> No.6700084

I'm swedish and I like meatballs and drink lots of coffee, not sure if the coffee thing is a stereotype but from what I've learned swedes drink a lot of coffee in general.
