cheap to produce ice, and they were short on supplies. they built a mockup test ship that lasted 3 years before it melted completely, but they never built a real prototype. The project was scrapped because once they realized they'd have to have a vast and complex network of expensive and vulnerable refrigeration ducts running through the hull, they decided it wasn't worth it.

Well first we dont use heat lamps, we have heated trays and cabinets everything is held in after its cooked. and maximum hold time for crispy chicken is 20 minutes, and it usualy all gets used before than anyway, so you're exagerating.if its not cold, then you just got a shitty piece of chicken, which happens. The grilled chicken is way better.
And shredded lettuce is at room temperature for a while, plus being on a hot sandwich. You probably go to one that just doesn't use a lot of lettuce, so new product isn't pulled out very often.

It's definitely been sitting in the cabinets for longer. I'm not exaggerating, there's no way fried chicken anything gets that firm and chewy in 20 minutes. 1. The food is incredibly salty and processed to the point where EVERY single time i eat there i feel sick afterwards and high violent diarrhea
2. The food is hastily hooked by someone thats hates life and what they are payed. I have had decent mcdonalds at privately owned ones that paid workers 11 dollars an hour, they even bring the food out, refill drinks and all that shit, almost felt classy. The food was the best McDonalds ever did. Still meh but a lot better than the average.
3. Price, I can spend over 10 dollars now on a greasy mess OR i could spend 6-7 at chikfilet and jizz myself over the massive increase in quality for less. Barring that i could spend 5 bucks on a hot and ready and eat twice as much at little ceasars. Mcdonalds is a bad purchase, the value is not there. Its just fast and everywhere but beyond that it lacks value or quality. I would undrstand the poor taste if it was cheap, but its not.
4. Pay your workers more, good people cost good money, weather you like it or not. That stoner you pay minimum wage spits in peoples food or fucks off 90% of the time and the customer gets awful service. I went to a mcdonalds. The service was much better than expected when I told then actually I wanted a the freshest bagel and then gave them back the coffee so I could get a fresh one when the bagel was done (I was picking it up for someone else I cared that their food was the best I could easily aquire.

I didn't trust it though. The manager was too upstanding. I didn't appreciate having nothing to complain about.
