It's so, so fucking nice. While most chocolate stouts taste like dark chocolate (which I love), this one is really unique in that it tastes like milk chocolate with lots of creaminess. It really is a true representation of that 'dessert in a glass' cliche. Enjoy!

It's not a nitro stout so it's way different. Foreign Extra Stout is better if you can find it. Extra Stout is decent but there are better porters/stouts you can buy for the price. pic related shit is delicious

Having Nogne O's Porter atm. It's pretty fantastic.

Just discovered Cloudwater Brewery's stuff too and that is great as well. I realise this may not be relevant to a lot of you as these beers may not be widely available in the US but I see a few US beers here so if you see anything from the above two or the Kernel Brewery I'd recommend you try it if you can.

There's nothing special about it. If you want Guinness, you **have** to get it on draught.

Pretty much always they'll let the beer sit a few minutes before they bring it to you, if they don't, you best let it sit till the bubbles all clear (except for the creamy foam on top)


When you get Guinness draught, they use NO2 instead of CO2 to make it bubbly. They can't do that when they bottle it. It makes a huuuuge difference and is one of the reasons Guinness is among the most popular beers in the world,

Their West Indies Porter is a pretty solid brew. So is the Dublin Porter. Not amazing, but pretty good.

I'd really enjoy drinking my way through Britain, trying the local stuff everywhere. I think the mild is a great institution, not because you find the most interesting flavours among milds, but for reasons that go beyond taste alone.

Other well-known beers I really enjoy are Orval, Delirium Tremens, Schlenkerla Rauchbier Urbock, Weihenstephaner Dunkel, Fuller's IPA (on tap). Beer Hunters Mufloni CCCC IPA and Koff Portteri are excellent beers from my country. The best American beers I've had are Stone IPA and Founders Oatmeal Stout.

Troegenator is my go-to dark beer. Nice taste and has a decent kick. Goes lovely with a good home made burger or steak at a cookout.

I think it's a PA only or primarily PA based company, it is a good Dutch dark beer.
