>salt and pepper, fry lightly in oil
>when done, squeeze with lime
>put on a warm flour tortilla
>add shredded cabbage, crema Mexicana, a few strips of pickled red onion, and some thinly shaved radish
>add a bit more lime

Perfect fish tacos

Bake 425 F for 15 minutes. The key to tilapia is to season the hell out of it because its such a mild fish. Takes really well to blackening but you can do just about any kind of flavor you like and it will taste good. I like to serve it with cilantro rice and asparagus.

Once made a tilapia salad out of it by adapting a tuna salad recipe, turned out ok. Would have to tweak it before I'd tell anyone to try it.

Makes a good fish fry if cod/haddock is too expensive in your area.

Tilapia is farm raised shit. Get something local, wild, & fresh. It will literally be 1000x better.
