This is why I'm bad about leaving dirty-dishes in soap.

Thank god I have a dish washing machine. Having to clean all your dishes and pots and flatware by hand must suck balls.

you can do it while waiting for stuff to cook and you usually end up with just the plate you served the food on to wash.

When you have a shower do you just stand under the water and pour detergent over your head?

Ya gotta scrub, mate.

Precisely what I do, it's common sense. After I'm finished eating I don't want to clean. Kill two birds with one stone

You have to hand scrub anyway. The dish washer can tackle small stains but is mostly for disinfecting.

>"anon, make extra for us, please!"

Fuck everything.

>be diligent about cleaning up my plates and everything I use to cook
>Roommate uses my plates, which I'm cool with
>Leave their shit in the sink and make huge piles
It's like they just throw my work in the garbage

It's not that big a deal but it just feels bad when I'm tired and want to not have to clean a plate before cooking as well, even though I already cleaned it after cooking last time.
