I drink / eat my own blood when I get injured, unless it's clearly unsanitary to do so. Otherwise I use it as a cleaning agent.

Things like this however are kind of disgusting. It's not even the idea of it being someone else's blood, or it being the uterine lining etc and what orifice it came out. Blood sausage disgusts me the same way.

Don't know why. It has to be both fresh and mine, I'd say. Cooking with it is offputting.
