I used to love Wendys, but they lost me on two counts.

1, they got rid of the Big Bacon Classic. That was my favorite.

2, since switching their french fry recipe (which I admittedly do like) they have gotten super jewish with the fries. They used to fill those fry containers up, now they will usually just be 3/4 filled.

The little french fry trend seems to be national too, I have noticed it at Wendys in 3 different states.

i made the mistake of going to Chik fil A today and eating inside. the old lady (who was sweeping up the WHOLE time) bothered me twice when i was eating. "if the sun's too much i can put the blind down for you" 'no im fine thank you' i deliberately sat in the sun; you can see that. This place is God tier for fish & chips in Seattle

The supermarket deli. You can get a Styrofoam container packed full of food for $5.

They've got ribs, fried chicken, stuffed bell peppers, meat loaf, pot roast, and this week they even had a chicken and cheese casserole topped with nacho cheese Doritos.

For sides you can get mashed potatoes, green beans, collards, black eyed peas, cabbage, macaroni and cheese, etc.

It comes with a biscuit, cornbread, or a roll.

It's not amazing, but it beats fast food on many fronts.

I do eat fast food, but I usually get it from local places, which are way better than the chains. There's a drive thru gyro place here that's the tits, and a couple of burger places that are so good you'd cream your panties.

This place has great burgers and onion rings, plus they have 160 different shake and malt flavors you can mix and match. Once, when I was in there, this 12-13 yr old kid ordered a chocolate-bacon-eggnog-fruity pebbles-butterscotch malt and all the employees cheered and shook his hand. I usually just get a Pepsi Freeze with my burger though, because I used to love pepsi floats as a kid.
