Every bartender I have ever met claims she or he makes the best Bloody Mary.

Well, this is literally impossible because there can be only one best, /ck/ do your worst.

I have tasted excellent Bloody Marys made with simple ingredients, so getting exotic is just weakness of creativity and pretentious.

Best Bloody Mary anyone?

there's a bar in Detroit's Eastern Market that makes a good Bloody Mary and serves it with about a 4 ounce glass of beer

I have a favorite blood mary mix.

Bloody Kentucky. We can get here in the state but not sure of outside. They made it to be mixed with either vodka or bourbon. With bourbon it's amazing. It's thick, spicy, but not asshole scorching hot.

Pretty much this, but if Clamato isn't available its still easy to make a good one, but most bartenders still fuck it up.

Any premade mix is fine IMO; the most important ingredients are fresh ground black pepper, and Lea & Perrins. If, like me, you have chili pepper infused vodka, that's a big plus.
