I didn't take a pic, but I went out to my favorite mexican place for camarones al aguachile verde, probably one of my favorite dishes ever. Hot and spicy green chile sauce, raw shrimp, cucumbers, onion, mango, oranges, avocado, and lime juice. all artfully arranged on a big ass platter. There's pics on the interwebs, but none of them look exactly like what I had, so I didn't want to post an inferior version of what I ate. It's the dish I crave, all. the. time. It's both my savior and nemesis.

Got some Chinese delivery, they gave me a free 2liter mtn dew. That was unexpected.

It was nicer than it looks. I mixed some garlic and ginger paste in with the beans, and a bit of hot sauce. Bacon, sausages, mushrooms and tomato were slightly overcooked in a George Foreman grill so they were a little dry and the scrambled eggs were cold before I finished them but overall, not too bad for this Anon.

no breading, put them straight in the deep fryer for like 4 minutes, take them out and into the freezer for 5-10 minutes, repeat, then finish them in the fryer until they are a nice golden brown, dry the oil with paper towel, toss them in sauce of your choice. Its the best method to get wings of fries nice and crispy without over cooking the innards, leave the skin on obviously.

The chicken w/basil is Chinese and was pretty good, it's not Thai style at all and when I ordered the Pad Thai, I hadn't had any for a couple years because the Thai places around where I live not only suck but they also don't deliver. It's not like a decent Chinese place which that one is can't throw Thai style noodles in a wok with some spices and make the same thing or better than the Thai places around here.

The Pad Thai was ok, but still better than the crappy Thai places around where I live. Not as good as a good Thai joint in NYC, but then I'm not there right now.

Tried a new taqueria out by my work yesterday, got the wednesday special, was a lot of damn food, the folded taco thing was similar to a bistek quesadilla, the bowl on the right was previously charro beans.

I wanted to get some springie rolls from a chinese joint last night but they ran out so cancelled the order, I'll get those and some crab rangoonies tonight.

Made a couple bacon, onion, and cheese quiches. Tried making the crust from scratch for once and it turned out great.
