For some reason I can't stop eating this, I eat fairly well most days but at least once a week I grab about 4 of these and eat them all in a row

TV dinner thread?

I don't always have them but every once in a while I pick up this bad boy.

Shit is delicious.

I always hate the brownies in TV dinners, they're always a weird kind of chewy

I feel you. Most of the time I give the brownie to a friend or something.

They just taste a little "off" to me, same thing with the fruit cobblers.

banquet chicken is some freaky shit. it's gray and spongy.

it tastes good though. just don't glance down and look at what you're eating.

There's also chicken-fried steak. That's just how you describe it.

The actually amount of chicken is small. The rest is "rib meat". But the actual Hungry Man Classic Fried Chicken meal is quite good for the price.

More bread than meat lmao

I'm guessing the chicken patty here is the same. I bought a budget aldi chicken schnitzel and it was 60-70% bread coating

Daily reminder that Banquet frozen meals are created with exactly one intention in mind: that it can be sold for precisely $1.

>chicken fried steak

The idea of crumbing and frying a steak sounds supremely unappetizing. I love any sort of crumbed chicken, pork or even veal but I can't understand chicken fried steak. What sort of cut is used?

>> No.6518334

>>6518301
it's not actually any sort of cut, chicken fried steak is pretty much just a burger coated and fried

ground meat in chicken batter

Daily reminder that nobody in this thread cares about the quality, and that they may enjoy other homemade foods as well. Also of mentioning: there are other threads to post in that relate to that type of food.

Usually you get a cheap cut of machine tenderized steak (call them cube steaks in the US). Too lazy to get a pick. Otherwise, a cheap cut of steak that is pounded flat and thin. Don't listen to this fuck >>6518334, you never use burger.

I'm guilty was well, OP. About once a week I have to have the Chicken Fried Chicken or the Salisbury Steak. Can't explain the craving for such shitty food. I think I picked it up in college when I was broke and it was a cheap alternative to ramen.
