i had canes for the first time in like 10 years the other day and it was so fucking rich

the sauce was like Worcestershire mayonnaise, super umami rich but in a sickening way

the bread, fries, and chicken were like an endless pile of crispy greasy salt, and i only got the 2 piece meal

i couldn't even discern any flavors or textures, it was just an assault on my body

i forgot the lemonade and regretted it, i needed something to cut through the grease

Cane's are by first the worst purveyor of tendies on the planet. To anyone reading this, go for literally any other chain. Do not be fooled, do not be baited. I recommend Hardy's/Carl's Jr., personally.

How long does the food stay before getting soggy? I can't imagine it would transport well from a shop to home and given how far away most homes are from a pizza/fast food/munchie box place it wouldn't work well here in America.

For those of you who have never actually had bento boxes, it can and usually is filled with rice and tonkatsu.

WTF is tonkatsu? Breaded, deep-fried pork.

There may be some rice with sugar and vinegar.

So start adding up those calories and check out the glycemic index while you're at it. Whoever thinks "sushi" is automatically healthy is flat-out wrong.

I'd love to see a calorie comparison.

Strangely enough, they are. There's something to be said for the crunchy stringy tendies that McD's does. Oh they're bad, but at least they have some semblance of taste and texture. Cane's lacks either of those, and what's worse is that the fries, toast, sauce and slaw are all inferior as well.
