What is /ck/'s opinion on food courts like Costco's?

They are great. Costco sells the foods cheap or less than cost because they make their money on the groceries. Great place for a cheap lunch or dinner if you don't buy anything in the store.

I think they're putting the hurt on local pizza joints in my area because you can't compete with theirs for the price. My kid loves their pizza but scoffs at higher priced/quality pizzas.

Costco food is great. I'm considering renewing my membership, it's only a household of two though so I'm not sure. The pizza is great but I always get the hot dogs.

>1. You dont need a membership for it
Depends on the location. If it's inside the store, which it is in most colder climate locations such as Chicago, you must have a membership card to get inside. They won't let you in "just for lunch", although sometimes you can ask someone in the parking lot to let you walk in with them.

Some locations, people were being disgusting pigs and taking home bags full of sauerkraut, instead of just using it on the hot dogs as it was meant to be used for.

In Taiwan, they had to go to ketchup packets because the locals would come in and fill up their ketchup bottles. Without even buying a fucking hot dog. Because hey, free ketchup.

I went to a Cosco for the first time today because of this thread. Vancouver area (I moved here yesterday).

The food court was okay. A hot dog and drink was 1.50$ (Canadian). Choice of beef or polish sausage. No onions or sauerkraut on the dress table though, I guess they probably had them behind the counter but I wasn't all that bothered.

Tried a slice of their pizza. Horrible, frozen stuff.

Thanks for reading my blog.
