There aren't any in-n-outs in my area, just Five Guys.

In the event I ever go to one, is the shit there just as overpriced as they are in Five Guys or what

No, it's just a fast food burger so don't get your hopes up about the taste but it's way cheaper than Five Guys.

They need to charge more so they can afford to expand, that they aren't out farther east than Texas is Americas biggest travesty, Five Guys is bottom bin trash compared to In-n-Out.

Anyone who says Five Guys is better is obviously just too much of a sperg to order their meal how they really want it because In-n-Out not only has more fresh ingredients, they cook literally every item exactly the way you ask.

the bitch about in-n-out expanding is they have a rule where they get there meat to the locations daily. They used to just truck it out from 1 location to all their store fronts. Since they expanded I think they may have opened a couple more supply locations, but the further they go the more they have to open and the more quality control devices they have to employe.

this nigga musta sold out. No one in their right mind would consider a big ass burger as a snack. Maybe those little mcdonalds ice cream cones could be within the caloric range of a snack but unless you're having a white castle burger and i mean ONE fast food isn't a snack.

Five Guys legitimately upsets me, just thinking about it, their shit quality, their stupid name, and their ridiculous prices. Not to mention their peanut gimmick.

In-N-Out makes fast food burgers, so they're not as good in a way as ones I make at home, but in their own way they are better. This is not the case with Five Guys, which is not even tasty.

its the first image result for in-n-out menu. Its a joke about the Beverly Hills in-n-out. Here is the actual menu.

>> No.6432432

There are like 3 or 4 inn-n-outs in my city, and they are usually packed at almost every time of the day. The drive through line is usually so long that it simply makes more sense to park and walk in. I can't believe people would be willing to sit in a drivethrough for 20-30 minutes just to get a cheap burger, using up gas. Its so painfully american, its almost embarrassing. There's even a designated order taker that comes out to the line of cars to take their orders faster.

Aside from that Inn-N-out makes an okay burger, their frys are decent if you don't load them with salt.

They also have a "sekrut" menu where you can order frys with thousand island sauce all over them and triple/quadrupal patty burgers, but its not really a secret, I see people ordering that shit every time I go there. That shit looks so terribly gluttonous that i would feel disgusted to eat it.

The quality of inn-n-out is so basic that while it does warrant a low price, I don't go out of my way to eat there. I'll stop there if I happen to be in the area. Often I much prefer getting a chicken samwhich from wendy's or whatever special burger that Carl's Junior might have. They usually have some new burger with jalapenos, guacamole, or something else on it, which is always good.

I have had 5guys a few times and the things I like about them are that their normal size burgers are more filling, and the cajun fries are really good which is probably the main reason I go there, and they also have a huge variety of different sodas on tap, even though they're all just variants of coca cola products. Aside from that I really don't like paying 12 dollars or more for a meal. Even when they fill the bag up with fries, because fries generally taste like shit after being put in a fridge I just end up eating all of the fries in one sitting.

>> No.6432445

Honestly the best thing happening in fast food right now are the specialty burgers that the large chains are putting out. Whether they be the generic spicy jalapeno burgers, or even that garlic sauce burger that carls junior put out recently was decent, albeit very greasy and messy.

I saw an article somewhat recently talking about "the inn-n-out effect", talking about how small chains that have basic food that isn't really outstanding are having outrageous success simply because of the way they present their business. "Oh look you can see the fries being made by hand in the drivethrough window". "You can see our entire kitchen at 5guys, so you know everything we serve you is legit".

And its not just burger joints, there's a samwhich shop thats new in my area called Gaglione brothers, I've only eaten their once and I have to say that the food was average at best and I payed way too much for it.

Another place that tries to come off as a family run chain store would be Jersey Mike's, and while I would have to say that it follows the same patterns as the other places, it actually has good food across the board, even though it is more expensive than going to subway.
