How do you usually buy brand-wise?

Do you go for the big, well-known brands that almost every store in your country carries?

Do you go for the more regional brands?

The generic store brands?

Anything you can think of in which the generic brand is better than the big-name?

None of the above. I use a cheap-ass mandoline and a deep fryer. Costs much less than storebought chips, plus they taste a fuck of a lot better. Oh, and they're stupid easy & fast to make. The mandoline slices the potato in literally 30 seconds, and they cook nearly that quickly too.

Well, I don't mean just chips. I just mean any brands. Brands of junk food, brands of pickles, brands of ice cream, etc.

You're doing it wrong. It's not "store brand vs. the big brand". It's NO BRAND, because you cook the food fresh, the way you want it.

Good food looks like pic related. Notice there are no packages, and therefore no brands. Make shit yourself: cheaper & better.

Okay, so you don't buy milk. You just have your own cow.

Always support more local sources over everything else.

I get it from the local co-op. It comes in unmarked bottles.
